Active Ankle sponsored the Athletic Training area for the 2013 Nike Mid-East Qualifier in Indianapolis March 22-24. The tournament hosted by Capitol Sports Center Volleyball is a USA Volleyball sanctioned event and brought in 750-800 teams for girls 15-18 to compete and showcase top talent in volleyball. Read More
2013 Bluegrass Tournament
Active Ankle is the title sponsor for the Active Ankle Bluegrass Tournament that was held in Louisville, KY at the Kentucky Expo Center March 9th & 10th. Hosted by KIVA (The Kentucky Indiana Volleyball Academy) along with the Ohio Valley Volleyball Center, this year’s event hosted 725 junior volleyball teams ranging in age groups of 10 & under through 18 & under. The event was complete with 116 courts of action-packed competition among the finest in junior volleyball in the Midwest with teams participating as far as Florida and Canada. Read More

September 28th & 30th, 2012: The Active Ankle Challenge held in Corvallis, Oregon, featured teams Wisconsin (1-2) takes on Seattle (1-2), Cal State Fullerton (4-0) and Oregon State (3-1) in the round-robin tournament. Read More
2012 Active Ankle Challenge at Ball State
August 24th & 25th, 2012: The Active Ankle Challenge held at Worthen Arena, featured teams from Ball State, Gardner-Webb, Virginia Commonwealth, and Illinois State. VCU swept three matches over the weekend to win the Active Ankle Challenge at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. It marks VCU first 3-0 start since opening at 5-0 in 2009, as well as the program’s first tournament victory since that season. Read More
2012 Wayne Willoughby Mountain Climbing
Active Ankle spends the day climbing with Wayne Willoughby, who contracted paralytic polio as a baby and has suffered numerous surgeries and debilitating post polio syndrome ever since. Wayne gave our ankle braces a test drive while climbing. Read More
